Two Takes on Vineyard Offshore Wind
It is fascinating to note that while some journals are exalting that Vineyard Wind is producing its first clean energy others are pointing out that Vineyard missed its first test.
These different take on the same occurrence point to the fact that we are living in the biggest most expensive and crucial energy transitions in our planet’s history. It will have far reaching ramifications for Massachusetts and the country.
This offshore wind energy could increase ocean noise which could affect the behavior of fish, whales and other species. Also, these fields of wind turbines or solar panels is a terrible eyesores! which spoils the landscapes and ruins the gorgeous view of the countryside. And that doesn’t make me a climate denier.
