Notes from an Environmentalist; The World as we Know it is Over. Hottest day on Record and Canadian Wildfires.

The World as we Know it is Over
The world recorded the hottest worldwide temperature y on record on July 21st followed 24 hours later by an even hotter day on July 22.
Smoke from wildfires in Canada has affected air quality in Minnesota, Wisconsin and as far south as El Plano Texas. Canada’s Jasper National Park in Alberta has been evacuated.
Smoke could reach the East Coast in a matter of days. If this coincides with a heat inversion similar to what we experienced in early July, East Coast cities could experience life threatening air pollution.
