Notes From an Environmentalist; Plum Island Flooding.

Yesterday's 9.9 foot high tides washed over the North end of Plum Island flooding the state depuration lab and stranding cars in shallow water in the parking lot. Today's high tide will be 10 feet. Expect erosion during Tuesday's storm when the tides will be 9.3 feet. Not good.
