Notes from an Environmentalist.
This year's hurricane season to be affected by unprecedented Atlantic la Nina.
Unprecedented Atlantic la Nina could Affect this year’s Hurricane Season.
This year started with record high sea surface temperatures but now they are plunging more rapidly than ever before. This could reduce this year’s hurricane season which had been expected to be severe.
It could also be offset by the forming pacific la Nina that could counteract the effects in the Atlantic. We shall see as the season unfolds in September.
